With nearly a decade of experience, he brings strong expertise in policy research, strategic communications, program management, and multi-stakeholder engagement that advances inclusive development across national, regional, and global spaces.
My Career
He currently serves as Deputy Executive Director at Southern and Eastern Africa Trade Information and Negotiations Institute (SEATINI).
Herbert holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, complemented by professional certifications in Public Policy Analysis, Gender Mainstreaming, Digital Policy Influencing, Social Media Management and Marketing, Data Analysis, Media Advocacy, Strategic Fundraising and NGO Advocacy.
An all-round creative, Herbert is also a published author and storyteller who uses narrative to illuminate critical socio-economic issues, spark dialogue, and inspire civic engagement.
Driven by a passion for ideas that shape society, he works to bridge policy, communication, and creativity to influence public discourse and advance transformative development across Africa.
